Paw Patrol Sensory Play: how to make an easy sensory bin

Spread the love

Paw Patrol Sensory Play using a sensory table or sensory bin is a total slam dunk with Paw Patrol fans!!

Remember that sensory play doesn’t need to be expensive or difficult to set up. For this activity I used materials we had on hand to create a fun, inviting set up for my kids.

Paw Patrol Sensory Bin Set Up

Set up: pour beans in a tray or bin (you can use any base you want – rice, kinetic sand, anything!), and fill a muffin tin with the small toys or little extras you want to offer (I used our Paw Patrol figures, succulents from Dollar Tree, and mini bunny erasers from the Target Dollar Spot). As an optional add on I checked out a library book to go along (The Pups Save the Bunnies).

Benefits of Sensory Play

The benefits? This prompts independent, open ended, and imaginative play. The beans offer calming sensory input, which is great for all kids and can be extra helpful for kiddos who may have sensory seeking behaviors. Fine motor development can be incorporated by offering spoons or scoops, and pairing books with favorite toys encourages high interest reading. Wins all around!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you try your own Paw Patrol Sensory Play at home!! Such a fun option for sensory play – let me know if you try it!!
