The car seat also converts to a booster seat for children up to 120 pounds. This means that you won’t have to purchase a new car seat as your child grows. It’s an excellent value for the cost!

First, one of the key features of the Radian® 3RXT® SafePlus™ car seat is its slim design. It’s just 16 inches wide, which means that it can fit three-across in most mid-sized vehicles. Consequently, this is a great feature for families like mine with multiple children. This seat also features an anti-rebound bar which helps to absorb some of the movement on impact for smaller children (my kids are not using this feature in the images shown due to their size).

- The seat is pricey. But my husband and I joke that buying 3 new car seats is cheaper than buying a new car!! If purchasing narrow seats allow you stay in a two-row vehicle, it’s important to consider options for seating the kids with 3 across!
